We offer multiple programs to generate funds for mission-critical band needs not covered by our school district PLUS ways for students to earn money to cover personal band travel expenses:

 

1.  PATRON PROGRAM: DIRECT GIVING (fall)

The Patron Program is our largest fundraising program, fueled by generous INDIVIDUAL and FAMILY gifts from parents, extended family, friends, alumni and band fans! Our annual goal is 100% parent participation at any level. We offer a variety of giving tiers and benefits. CLICK HERE to learn more or email fundraising@westlakeband.org. DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT by asking your employer if they offer EMPLOYER MATCHING for donations and volunteer hours. 100% of Patron gifts go to Westlake Band Parents (WBPs).

 

2.  PATRON PROGRAM: FAN-PLEDGE Call-A-Thon (fall)

To finish out our fall Patron fundraiser, band students are asked to participate in our annual high-energy, 1-hour Fan-Pledge call-a-thon event as a “final push” to close any remaining fall funding gap. Students contact from 1 to 10 “band fans” (friends & family) to help us meet our funding goal. 15% of proceeds fund “fun” events for our band students, and 85% goes to Patron Program/WBPs. Band students receive prizes and recognition awards plus donors qualify for Patron benefits. Friends & family contact information is secured by Fan-Pledge and kept private (not shared with any entity including the band).

 

3.  CORPORATE & BUSINESS SPONSORSHIPS (fall, year-round)

Community support is vital to the success of the Chap Band. We can negotiate a variety of sponsorship, in-kind and win-win partnership opportunities with robust benefits. 4.  CHAP FOOTBALL PROGRAMS (summer, June-Sept)

Support the band by advertising in the 2024 WHS football program. Show your support by placing a CORPORATE, ORGANIZATION OR BRAG AD. CLICK HERE to learn more or contact fbprograms@westlakeband.org for more details. Also, please PURCHASE A FOOTBALL PROGRAM at a football game or via the Chap Band Store.

5.  SEMI-TRUCK TRIBUTE STICKERS (year-round)

Honor your band student even beyond graduation with a Tribute Sticker on the back of the Chap Band semi-truck. CLICK HERE for more details.

 

6.  MULCH (Feb-Mar)

Buy Mulch every March (and hire band students to spread)! Each year band students (and parents) sell and deliver thousands of bags of Mulch to our Westlake community. It’s a massive volunteer effort generating thousands of dollars covering critical band needs. Profits are split between the WHS band fund and WPBs. Contact mulch@westlakeband.org for details. 7.  STUDENT TRAVEL ACCOUNT FUNDRAISERS (year-round)

Students and their families who wish to raise funds toward their PERSONAL band travel accounts can participate in our RaiseRight Gift Card and Holiday Market Fundraisers. Many students have earned hundreds of dollars through these programs. CLICK HERE to learn more about RaiseRight, a program allowing families to earn rebates from the purchase of gift cards for everyday expenses. 8.  WORK CONCESSIONS (fall)

Parents are requested to work concessions stands during ONE fall home football game. Date/details to be announced. Profits go to Westlake Band Parents.
