Aloha, 2025-2026 Chap Band Members!
We are incredibly excited to announce that we will be taking our big trip next year to Hawaii!!!! The dates of the trip will be January 14-19, 2026. The band will have the opportunity to perform a standstill concert at the Pearl Harbor Memorial next to the U.S.S. Missouri. We'll also get to spend lots of time immersing ourself in the culture of the island lifestyle, exploring beautiful beaches, sightseeing, and having a great time all together as a band family!

We look forward to having you all join us on this incredible new adventure for the Chap Band in 2026!

Chaperones Eligibility
*For Category #2-13, one person is eligible per role unless the role is co-chaired. If the role is co-chaired, a maximum of two people are eligible.
Requirements:

Travel with the Chap Band Travel Group for the entirety of the trip, including flights to and from the destination.

Submit and pass a district background check. The link is on the Chap Band Travel Page.

Chaperone a minimum of 1 Marching Season Competition Day (this is similar to a Trip Chaperone role)

Attend the Mandatory Trip Chaperone Orientation.

Attend the Mandatory Trip Meeting with Directors, parents and students.
Selection:

Chaperone selection will be made from completed Trip Chaperone Interest Forms. The Trip Chaperone Interest Form is linked on the Chap Band Travel Page.

Chaperone selection is based on the Trip Chaperone Eligibility List and the overall trip needs.

The Director of Bands reserves the right to make final chaperone assignments based on student needs, emergency considerations or disciplinary history, regardless of eligibility level.
